What started as get-togethers between artist-friends became a business venture in an art gallery and cafe. 190 Artists Gallery was a place that owner Cynthia Jamlag used to call home.
Its quaint charm and quirky interiors greet curious visitors. Paintings from veteran and novice artists—some of whom are Jamlag’s friends—adorn its classic white walls, sprucing up the space. If the art isn’t enough to make you stick around, the food may convince you to stay for a while.

Palacio de Memoria
Think you can’t have a piece of history within a bustling city? This next place, situated in the ever-busy Roxas Boulevard, doesn’t seem to think so.
Palacio de Memoria is a restored pre-war mansion featuring old Manila’s untold stories and other exquisite masterpieces. If you and your boo are avid history fans, you two are going to love this seven-story place. Book an hour-and-a-half tour of the mansion and see it in all its dazzling glory!
Aside from the majestic interiors, Palacio de Memoria boasts a spacious outdoor deck and back garden for events. Feel the 60s and 70s come alive in its Mosphil Lounge—a repurposed aircraft decked out in stylish retro pieces.

Parañaque’s coastal roads have mangroves that make way for the lush reserve that is the Las Piñas-Parañaque Critical Habitat and Ecotourism Area. This spot spans 175 hectares of flora and fauna that found a home in the metro. It has the distinction of being the country’s first critical habitat.

RUE began as an after-work joint for yuppies in 2009. Its aesthetics and dishes are a nod to New Orleans and its iconic Mardi Gras festivities.
